Bus Operator Membership

Membership shall be open to any person, partnership, firm or company accredited under the Public Transport Competition Act 1995 to operate a road transport passenger service (scheduled or non-scheduled) within the state of Victoria and to operators of hire and drive omnibuses under the Transport Act or any corresponding enactment. Prospective members should read the Association Code of Ethics, and Association Rules documents at the bottom of this page prior to applying for membership.

This yearly membership is paid in full upon joining BusVic and then once per year at the designated renewal period.

A one-off application fee will be payable upon application for membership.

Membership fees are calculated by the number of vehicles in your fleet as outlined below:

Accredited Charter Operators

Definition: Operators where government contracted service vehicles make up less than 20% of the operator’s fleet.

Please select the Bus Operator Member type and BusVic will adjust your invoice to reflect the 75% rate of fees.
