Federal Representation
The Bus Industry Confederation is Australia's federal industry representative body, representing the operators, suppliers, State Associations and associated businesses to the Federal Government.
BIC’s members carry more than one billion passengers annually in Australia. BIC is recognised as a leading proponent of growth in travel by public transport. BIC believes this is an effective way to reduce the economic, social and environmental costs associated with excessive use of the private car for personal and business travel.
BIC handles all industry advocacy endeavours of a federal nature. BIC hold an annual Conference which provides an opportunity for all corners of the wider public transport industry to connect.
